Connection

“The opposite of addiction is not sobriety. The opposite of addiction is connection.”
~ Johann Hari ~

We breathed. We opened our eyes to change. We made a commitment.

Now here’s the part nobody tells you.

All of that inner work — it doesn’t mean anything if we’re still doing it alone.

The phone in your pocket can connect you to a million people and leave you feeling completely empty at the same time. We know this. We feel it every day.

The river is different. The river is real. Real people, real conversations, real connection.

Put the phone down. Look up.

The person next to you might be exactly who you need today.
