Grounded
| “A tree grows tall because it has strong and solid roots.” ~ Chinese Proverb ~ Everything’s pulling at you today — the notifications, the noise, six directions at once wanting an answer right now. Before anything can grow up, it has to grow down first. Nobody sees the roots. They just see the tree standing tall, like it happened overnight. Grounded means putting the roots in before you chase the branches. Knowing what actually matters to you before the day tells you what should matter. You don’t have to chase every current. You can just stand there, steady, and let it pass around you. You won’t miss anything…something else is right around the bend.
