Fellowship

“Fellowship is heaven; lack of fellowship is hell.”
~ William Morris ~

True fellowship has become a lost art in this world. Not networking, not being in the same space as somebody while you’re both looking down — real fellowship. Interacting with your fellows on a human level.

That ability hasn’t gone anywhere. It’s still there, waiting, every time we’re willing to actually be present. And presence has a price — you can’t be fully there for someone while half your attention is somewhere else.

We have become quick to give our attention to a piece of plastic that makes us feel connected while we sit alone in a room full of people. Real connection isn’t found in a feed. It’s found in the space we make when we’re actually there — nothing between us and the person in front of us.
