Generosity

Look up. Before you order. Before you ask for anything. Before you even think about what you need — look up and find the person standing in front of you.

Ask that person how their day is going.  That’s it…that’s the whole move.  Then just listen.

Every now and again you’ll catch it — that little twinkle. The one that says nobody’s asked me that all day. And they’ll look right back at you and say I’m fine. Thank you for asking.

That’s generosity. Present. Simple. Costs nothing.
