The Weight of Your Word

“Be impeccable with your word.”
~ Don Miguel Ruiz ~

Five words. The first agreement.

Sounds simple. It’s not.

Every word is a seed. It lands somewhere — in someone else, in yourself. Say something true, something kind — it grows into that. Say something careless — that grows too.

How many times do we say things we don’t mean? How many times do we talk to ourselves in ways we’d never talk to someone we love?

Impeccable. Without sin. Without poison.

That’s the standard. Working on it.
