The Word of the Day…Journey

“It’s not the destination, it’s the journey.”
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson ~

Nobody tells you that when you start. You just pick a direction and go.

Some days the road is smooth. Some days you’re white-knuckling it through weather you didn’t see coming. Either way, you’re moving. Either way, something is happening to you — and in you.

We’ve all been on a few roads. None of them went exactly where we thought. Every single one took us somewhere worth going.

That’s the thing about a journey. You don’t get to know the end before you start. You just have to trust the road.

“You don’t have to move mountains. Sometimes you just have to hold the space.”~Unknown~ Sometimes the people we love are pushing a boulder up a hill.
