The Starting Line

“The secret of getting ahead is getting started.”
~Mark Twain~

Everyone’s got an opinion about Monday.

Dragging feet. Heavy sighs. The whole world acting like the alarm clock is the enemy.

The Dude sees it different.

Monday isn’t a punishment. It’s a starting line. And there’s something electric about a starting line if you let yourself feel it. The blank page. The fresh week. The whole thing wide open in front of you like a river you haven’t floated yet.

A wise man once said — you only get to lace them up so many times.

Nobody ever won a race dreading the start.

The Dude laces up. Steps to the line. Takes a breath.

And moves.

The Dude 🐸

Thought for the Day
How many starting lines are you standing at right now — and which one are you afraid to cross?
