The River Doesn’t Rush

“Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.”
~ Lao Tzu ~
The river doesn’t rush.
It doesn’t set an alarm. It doesn’t check its phone. It doesn’t wonder if it’s moving fast enough or doing enough or being enough.
It just moves. Steady. In the direction it was always going.
The Dude thinks about this a lot.
We live in a world that rewards urgency. Hustle. Speed. But the river doesn’t care about any of that. The river knows something we forget — that consistent, patient movement gets you further than frantic sprinting ever will.
You don’t have to have it all figured out today. You just have to keep moving in the right direction.
The river always gets there.

Where in your life are you rushing something that just needs time?
